I am a sucker for perfumes but restrain myself from buying too many as keeping the glass bottles has become quite difficult due to lack of space (and lack of mom’s patience too!). Recently I have been sniffing around Nike and Nivea and have come across some amazing fragrances. Packaging – The perfume is housed in a glass bottle rectangular in shape with a plastic cap in aqua blue colour. The packaging is sturdy, and the glass is slightly tinted green. On it the brand name is written in silver. It looks pretty decent and cool. The outer casing is simple but tough with multiple cardboard layering. It is in aqua blue and purple combination. The spray nozzle is small but sprays out enough perfume without any defaults.

Fragrance – The fragrance mainly consists of fruity and floral accords while some may find a base note of a light woody scent that smells like patchouli and sandalwood to me. However the top accords are floral which is pretty strong. The smell is very refreshing and invigorating. The feminine notes are so pleasant that for a moment you may feel you are in a garden during spring time!

Staying Power – This is where the perfume kind of gets dissolved. The staying power is not that long. Now I am a person who sweats a lot but fortunately even the worst perfumes stick around me. So I judged its staying power on my cousin who on the other hand struggles to keep the perfume sillage on her body. It stayed for 3-4 hours on her, on a very hot and humid day. Also, when it is freshly applied, the sillage is not too powerful so even though the perfume is not a very mild one, its aroma do not spread wide enough.

Overall Thoughts

If you are looking for a beautiful smell that will refresh you this summer, Nike Woman Original Eau De Toilette is your pick. But again the staying power could be a problem for many but for me it is just fine. On me it stays for a good 6+ hours on a sultry day. Thus I love it. Go ahead and buy Nike Originals, you will not regret it, it is worth trying once.
