Eyebrow does wonders to one’s overall appearance. For me eyebrows & lips are the two things I can’t leave house without donning  them up. Nicely done eyebrows make the whole makeup look polished and pulled together. I love to sport naturally filled eyebrows. My left eyebrow needs special attention since it has lots of bald spots and crooked arch, well nothing can a good eyebrow pencil can’t fix. Packaging – Nicka K Eyebrow Wood Pencil is a long wooden pencil with spooli brush on one end. I personally prefer retractable packagings so that there is no need of sharpening but at this price I really don’t mind sharpening.

Shade – Charcoal Gray is true to its name. I don’t like black eyebrow pencil as they look too stark and unnatural if you don’t have thick bushy eyebrows. My eyebrows have few bald spots and areas that need filling and I like cool toned browns, taupe or gray shades to fill them in. The shade should work for Indian skin tones well.

Texture & Formula – Nicka K Eyebrow Wood Pencil has a waxy & dry texture, which is good for eyebrow pencil. It applies well and blends without much pressure, depositing color without going over again and again. Due to dry texture it stays put for a long time without smudging. It doesn’t look glossy or creamy which is perfect finish for me.

Pigmentation – The pencil is nicely pigmented and I have already used it more than 10 times without sharpening even once.

Overall Thoughts

If you are looking for a long wearing eyebrow pencil suited for dark hair then do try Nicka K Eyebrow Wood Pencil. The pencil is quite long and comes with a brush end which is amazing for quick touch ups or even travelling. The color is dark enough for me and I like the staying power as well.
