Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Foaming Cleanser Review Photos

Neutrogena face washes do wonders for my skin. They are gentle, they come with non-comedogenic formula and  most importantly they unclogs the pores with each wash. That is the reason I went for Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Foaming Cleanser.

This one comes from the extended range of Neutrogena Deep Clean. It is specially made to cater the needs of Asian skin so it is available mostly in east and south-east parts of Asia.

These days K-beauty skin care items are getting lots of attention due to quality and performance. This new cleanser is somehow inspired by the foaming face washes we generally get as second step from ten step Korean skin care. Here are my thoughts about this face wash.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Foaming Cleanser is an effective deep cleaning facial cleanser with 5 brightening powers which gives you cleanser, fairer and more radiant skin with every wash.

Contains Mulberry Extract and Whitening Vitamin Complex that boosts skin’s fairness with every wash. It removes dirt, excess oil, dead skin cells and skin dulling residue, leaving your skin radiant.

Packaging: This face wash comes in a pink and off-white plastic tube with flip-top cap. The opening of the cap was sealed at first to ensure no-contamination. The packaging is very compact and travel-friendly.

Colour & Consistency: The wash has a pale pink colour (looks almost white though), pearly finish and men’s shaving cream kind of consistency. It forms high amount of creamy lather when rubbed with water. It gets washed off easily and makes skin squeaky clean.

Application process is simple. Take a pea-size product to the palm and gently rub your damp face with it. Wash the face for 15-20 second and wash off.

Fragrance: It has a mixture of tamed citrus and floral fragrance. The fragrance is very light and goes off as soon as you wash your skin off. This is not the best fragrance from Neutrogena but it does not at least irritate the senses.

Quantity & Price: This face wash is priced at Rs.220 for 100gm. Neutrogena’s regular foaming cleanser also comes at this price so they have not hyped the price which is a great thing. Now, this one is available at alluring discounts on online sales so you can easily grab this at 10-20% discount.

My Overall Thoughts:

I am a huge fan of gel based face washes for their mild and non-dry formula. So, I had some doubt on this at first in the dryness department. Winter has come and this is not the best time to use a foaming wash still I started to use this. My brother, who has severely oily skin also uses this unisex face wash.

As Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Foaming Cleanser is a foaming face wash, it is bound to create lots of foam. Thankfully it does not dry out the skin like other foaming face washes. It is a purifying face wash and it makes the skin feel squeaky clean. The skin looks free from dullness.

Due to the winter harshness, I need to use a moisturizer immediately after using it otherwise skin gets dry after a few minute. This is going to be a great product for summers.
