Navratri Makeup Using Affordable Products Only

Ever since I started my Youtube channel, I have stopped posting look here completely. After a long time I am finally posting a look I created for upcoming festival season. Like always I have kept it easy and doable, using products that are easily available as well as affordable (except the foundation) . So lets see how I have done this navratri makeup look –

Since my skin is dry , I have used an illuminating primer. The formula not only helps the foundation to stay on for a longer time but also adds luminosity to the skin. I have used Natio Ageless Illuminating Primer. It is light weight and doesn’t have chunky glitters.

Next step if foundation. Since the weather is still hot, I have used a light weight foundation – Kiko Liquid Second Skin Foundation. The formula is very light weight and doesn’t make me sweat. It also offers medium coverage and matches my skin tone really well.

Hiding those under eye circles is the step you shouldn’t miss out on. Brighter under eye area not only adds glow to your face, it also makes you look awake and healthy. I have used Freedom Pro Conceal & Correct Palette.  The palette is also good for color correction since it has peach & orange correctors too. The formula is light to medium coverage and works well for my dry skin.

Moving on to eyes I have used matte brown & black shades from Maybelline The Nudes Palette, which has become my favourite go to palette. IT has just the right blend of neutral mattes & shimmers. Perfect for India skin tone. I have used Lakme Illumination Eye shadow palette Royal Persia to add purple color on my lids. The eye makeup is all matte and perfect for day time wear.

Going with the matte theme I have used Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eye Liner Black. It is matte and intense black , also the formula stays on for a long time and doesn’t fade. Adding two coats of Oriflame The One Volume Blast Mascara finishes the look.

Eyebrows are the most important part of your face as they frame the eyes and make or break a makeup look. Don’t forget to fill them in with a color matching your natural brow color. I have used L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit here.

To set the under eye powder a light dusting of Colorbar Flawless Airbrush Finish Loose powder is done. It has just the right amount of yellow that brightens up the area without making it look too yellow !

I have used The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder and Lakme Peach affair blush to finish the face makeup. For lips I have chosen a neutral brown lipstick Maybelline Creamy Matte Nude Nuance.
