NARS Tribulation Blush Review Swatches Photos

I’m here with my favourite makeup product – BLUSH and my favourite brand for blush – NARS COSMETICS. I have shared many a reviews here but not a highlighter shade like this , NARS Tribulation Blush is certainly very unique shade and if you ask me it is a must have shade for someone who is fond of blushes or I should say highlighter though it is listed under “BLUSH” Category on their site . I picked mine directly from their site as it was exclusive to NARS and wasn’t available on any other retailer like – SEPHORA or Nordstrom.

Shade – NARS Tribulation blush on their site is described as “shimmery rose sand”, it is warm toned champagne gold shade which doesn’t look frosty at all when dusted with good fan brush and buffed into skin, I adore this stunner shade of gold, it is pure heaven and how beautifully it pairs with warm tone blushes, it is listed as blush but to me it is more like a highlighter shade.

Texture & Formula  – The blush which is more like a highlighter on my NC 40 skin tone is very soft and not powdery at well plus blends well on my skin without any issue and looks seamlessly flawless.

Pigmentation – NARS Tribulation Blush is nicely pigmented and is opaque in single swipe or say two , I use a fan brush to apply this as highlighter and blend well so that blends in with the blush am paring it with .

Staying power – It stays on my oily skin for hours and fades very evenly, I get 7 – 8 hrs of wear, that , in spite of such a lighter shade it looks good .

Overall thoughts

I completely adore NARS Blushes but now when I see so many pretty shades piling up in my drawer it seems little overwhelming to pick any new … So far I never had any issues with their colour range, pigmentation or texture and highly recommend them and this NARS Tribulation Blush too which is gorgeous gold and is flattering in every possible way.
