The multiple, as the name suggests, is a multi-tasking product from Nars.  This is made to be used on cheeks, eyes as well as lips.  This is a cream stick form that comes in a twist up tube like a lipstick.  The one I have is a mini, part of a set.

Shade – NARS Multiple in Orgasm is a peachy pink shade, similar to the Orgsam Blush reviewed earlier, is one of Nars’ top selling and most popular blushes.  The multiple, being a cream stick does look different in colour than the powder blush.  This can be expected since the formula is different.  The multiple leans more pinkish rose than the powder and the shimmer particles are more visible as well.   When applied there is a much more distinct illuminator/highlighter quality that is absent in the blush.

Texture and Formula – NARS Multiple in Orgasm is a cream to powder formula.  The stick glides on very easily and the colour transfers without any pulling or tugging. The texture is very smooth and very light.  You can’t feel a thing once you have applied it. It feels more like a powder blush on the skin.

I have used this mainly on my cheeks and tried it once on my eyes.  I honestly did not want to try a blush / shadow on my lips, so I haven’t tried this as a lipstick.

Pigmentation – When applied heavily there is a very pretty peach – rose colour visible on your cheeks.  The shimmer is also very visible.  NARS Multiple in Orgasm is supposed to flatter most skin tones and it does look very natural on my NC 35 skin.

Staying Power – Used with primer and foundation NARS Multiple Orgasm lasts on me for about 3 to 4 hours before fading.  However, without primer the colour fades away very quickly.  In about half an hour the beautiful shade has vanished and all that remains is the glitter.  As such, it makes for a very nice illuminator / highlighter depending on how you use it.  I would advise using this only with a primer if you wish to see the colour.

Overall thoughts

As I don’t tend to use a primer or foundation daily, I find little use for NARS Multiple in Orgasm.  It is more of a day wear kind of colour and I tend to pick up some of the other colours that last without primer.  This will work well for you, if you are willing to use a primer or foundation each time you use this, or if you are looking for an illuminator.
