NARS Greta Audacious Lipstick (RS -$32+TAX/ 2200 INR)

I have a total four of these unicorn babies , and I would be writing about two of them here, to start of I am writing about Nars Greta, which is my favourite shade, out of all of these .whenever I write about these lipsticks , I always say, that the audacious lipsticks are the best, that can ever be created, and I continue to agree on this, I got my 1^st one in October last year, and till date I continue to say so, that the NARS Audacious Lipsticks, in the eternity of life, are the best lipsticks I have ever come across 🙂

Shade: these audacious lipstick come in a whooping 40  shades, I got mine in the shade greta, which NARS describes as a wild azalea , very true , it indeed is a very deep red toned fuchsia colour, it is not neon, but it certainly is bright, and instantly lifts up the complexion, a colour that would suit an array of skin tones, and having a slight bit blue undertones, it does make my teeth appear more white.

Texture: The Audacious Lipstick formula is superb. The lipstick is creamy, moisturizing, and smooth. I found that GRETA  was very creamy, feathery creamy on application. The formula is very pleasant to wear. The pigmentation is incredibly opaque. And the pigmentation combined with the creamy formula means that NARS’ “one-stroke, full-coverage creamy wear” claim holds true.

Pigmentation : like OH BOY>!!!, one stroke, like you barely touch to your skin and packs on pigment, NARS Greta Audacious Lipstick is insanely pigmented.

Staying Power– NARS Greta stays on easy for about 6 to 7 hours, when it doesn’t even promise to be a long wearing product, and even after 7 hours of wear it leaves on a pretty dark stain, which stays for another hour or so, I knocking around the corner, to find a con, but I just cant..!!

Packaging: It’s the most simple and sleek black metal packaging. Cuboid in shape to be precise in 3D and if you see the face it appears rectangular with finely sculpted edges. The word NARS is inscribed on the bottom half of the bullet and as well on the lipstick bullet itself

Overall Thoughts

NARS Audacious Lipstick also have a magnetic closure so you can easily throw it in your bag and have no fear of the cap falling apart. The Audacious Lipstick colours aren’t much  glossy. But what I noticed after a lot of intense attention that for the first 30 minutes or so the lipstick tends to transfer on cups or fingers, it seems as if it hasn’t settled fully but after wearing for an hour or so NARS Greta seemed to be transfer resistant and more like a stain. All I want to say is whatever you do, one stroke is enough to take you through the day. All I wish that these were more easily available in India.
