Another fuchsia lipstick review but the formula and finish is absolutely different from the last one I shared. I am eagerly waiting to try new NARS Lipstick which they launched recently as am a big fan of their lip and cheek products but it will take ages I know, they are not easily available and my only source is strawberry net. Shade – NARS Funny Face is described as semi matte fuchsia, however, there is lot to say about this colour, and on my olive skin tone it is not bright but a subtle cool toned reddish fuchsia shade with fuchsia purple sheen. It has duo chrome finish and looks different as light hits it from various angle – not a complex shade but really different from regular NARS shades.

Packaging – NARS Lipsticks comes in rubberized packaging with NARS written on outer tube in white. They tend to pick dust quickly so I keep them in their outer cover else it looks so messy and feel sticky.

Texture and Formula – NARS Semi matte lipstick have easy to glide texture although they are matte but still are comfortable on lips and feels light . NARS offers 3 finishes and my absolute fav is semi matte which packs a lot of pigment and comes in Varity of shades.

Pigmentation – NARS Funny Face is decently pigmented and is opaque in two layers.Staying power – I get 3 plus of wear with this shade and don’t settle in fine lines or make my lips feel dry if they are well hydrated.

Overall Thoughts

I adore NARS Lipsticks a lot and eagerly waiting to pick their new formula once they are stocked at strawberry net, but for now I am giving my love to this beautiful shade from NARS regular line. NARS Funny Face is not must have shade but a great pick if you love fuchsia shade and are scared of in your face vibrant colours .
