I am going to share my experience on Myglamm K.Play Melon Highlighter inspired by the colour and flavour of ripe melon. 

Highlighter is a must for every winter makeup look. If you want to flaunt your glowing skin or want to fake a celebrity glow, you need a highlighter in your makeup kit. Highlighters are either powder or liquid. The sheen provided by any highlighter comes from the glitter particles.

Good quality highlighters have fine shimmers that don’t look chunky on the face and easily give an even finish. My glamm has recently launched a fruit based makeup collection called K.Play.

Packaging: Myglamm K Play Highlighter Melon comes in a pastel peach coloured plastic compact container. The lid of the container has a mirror which I found quite nice.

The outer packaging of the highlighter is very beautiful and artistic. Along with some basic information about this product, the complete ingredient list is provided. The packaging is very sturdy and travel-safe.

Shade & Texture: The shade Ripe Melon is a beautiful golden highlighter with warm undertones. The shade looks gorgeous on everyone but it fares extremely well on warm undertone skin. The texture is smooth and blendable. It is not a chalky formula. The highlighter does not give ‘it’s on your face’ kind of look.

Fragrance: It has a very nice melon fragrance. The fragrance reminds me of melon flavoured candies. The smell is not overpowering and does not linger long to cause uncomfort.

Quantity & Price: It is priced at Rs645 for 9gm. The price seems just for the quantity. Plus, we are getting a standard sized mirror. The ingredients tjhat has been used to make this highlighter are also of good quality. So, definitely a high fove from me in the price matter!

My Overall Thoughts:

I am not someone who uses golden highlighters much. Rosegold or pink based neutral toned highlighters fare me well as I have warm-neutral undertone. I like liquid highlighters more because I feel liquid formula gives more control on the product. However, this highlighter gives a beautiful sheen to my face.

The glitter particles in this highlighter impart proper yellowish golden lustre. This is not a highlighter that will give you a bronze-gold finish. The formula blends nicely and stays 5-6 hours without fading. I need to set my my foundation with enough powder if I am using a powder highlighter.

Otherwise, it would cling to the oily face and won’t blend. Myglamm K Play Highlighter Melon did not result in clogged pores or acne. It doesn’t highlight the pore textures of the skin. Overall this is a good powder highlighter for those who like muted highlighted effects with yellow-gold tones.
