MUA Ritzy Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush (Rs 650) available Online
There are couple of products that you see making appearances on international blogs , you always plan to pick them but never do because of procrastination. MUA Ritzy Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush is one such product for me. I saw it online and didn’t pick for two reasons – First the shade appeared a bit too bright and I was not sure as to how good it would look on me , second the price was a bit too steep for a MUA product.
Glide MUA Luxe’s Whipped Velvet Blush over cheeks for a light, instant colour. This ultra-soft, lightweight blush formulation enables you to build the colour gradually for a look that suits you.
Packaging is very simple with a round plastic pot and transparent plastic lid.
Shade – MUA Ritzy is a bright hot pink with red undertone. It looks quite scary in the pan but once applied this color looks absolutely gorgeous on my skintone. The color is bright which makes it perfect for spring/summer. This shade would look better on medium/deeper complexions.
Texture & Formula – MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush has a cream to powder formula. It feels almost like mousse when you touch it. Formula is so light and unlike other cream blushes it doesn’t feel sticky or greasy when applied. However the finish it offers is slightly dewy which is perfect if you are looking for a healthy dewy makeup look. I apply it with the help of Real Techniques Stippling Brush.
Formula is quite easy to blend and disappears into the skin without being patchy or drying, leaving beautiful flushed cheeks behind.
Pigmentation – MUA Ritzy is quite pigmented. Also because of the bright color, one needs to be very careful while applying it. A little goes a long way ! You can see me applying this blush in my recent Get ready with me video.
Staying Power – This blush stays on me for good 5+ hours and fades evenly.
Overall Thoughts
I am very impressed with the formula, texture & pigmentation of MUA Ritzy Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush. I would love to buy more from this range as the dewy finish is perfect for dry skin like mine.
