MUA Gel Liners Review, Swatches, Photos

MUA Gel Liners in Underground & Tribe – £3 each, available at

I loved the packaging. MUA Gel liners come in small glass jars with a small eyeliner brush smartly hidden inside the long lid. The size of the product + applicator makes it perfect for travel.

See how smart the design is. The brush is absolutely useful for precise lining.

Underground is matte black gel liner. These gel liners do not set immediately and take 2-4 mins to dry. Pigmentation is average, I have to layer it to get the smooth black line without gaps. Texture is not very smooth, you may not be able to draw a line without tugging and pulling. I had hard time specially while layering to intensify the shade.

Tribe is a beautiful sparkly blue shade. I love such bright shades, they make a dull face alive !! Texture of this shade is smooth and buttery. It goes on without tugging or pulling. Pigmentation is below average and I had hard time in building up the color.

These gel liners are waterproof and once set, are smudge proof too. I have worn them for 7+ hours and none of them faded or smudged. However Underground starts cracking after 5 hours which is bit unpleasant.

Quantity is too less for the price one pays.

Overall Thoughts

If you are a makeup lover you can choose from the 4 shades available. The unique cap with brush applicator makes it very travel friendly and gives it an upper hand when compared with other gel eyeliners in competition. The pigmentation & texture lacks. I think quality varies from shade to shade.
