MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint (£ 3) available at MUA Online
Get a long-lasting tint of colour with this smooth cream eyeshadow. The easy-glide formula can be blended or worn alone for cool, block colour eyes. Encased in a handy chubby pencil the applicator rolls up for ease.
I always MUA Cosmetics efforts to come up with exciting affordable makeup. I wanted to try MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint and picked two shades when I did get a chance.
Packaging is simple twist up crayon, that I find very smart & convenient.
Shades – I have bought MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint in Loud and Stay. Loud is a beautiful Purple color with shimmers, Stay is a champagne beige shade. Both of them shimmers.
Texture & Formula – MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint have a nice smooth texture. I apply them directly on the eyelids. Despite of the presence of shimmer in the formula none of them feel gritty or scratchy. Formula applies easily and blends well. I like to use these MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint as base for eyeshadows. Texture is smooth but not too buttery, so it doesn’t crease as long as it stays on the lids. Both have shimmery finishes.
Pigmentation – MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint Loud is pretty pigmented, you can tell from the swatch above, though I have swiped each shade multiple times. Stay is less pigmented and comes off pretty subtle on eyelids. Both the shades cover dark eyelids and apply evenly.
Staying Power – This is where MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint fall flat. Maximum staying power is 3 hours after that these eyeshadow tints Vanish !! So if you are looking for a longer staying power, wear an eyeshadow primer underneath.
Overal Thoughts
MUA Colourblast Eyeshadow Tint are affordable and can be a nice edition to makeup newbie’s collection. I find the texture of both the shades smooth and non-gritty. Both apply well and blend easily, you get a smooth shimmery finish. I personally use them as a base for some sheer eyeshadows. Only downside is staying power, none of the shades last for more than 3-4 hours if applied with a primer underneath.

I too like loud more than stay because of the color payoff. Yes lakme one has amazing staying power, I am planning to pick a subtle shade

The colors are beautiful. I am looking for a granite grey. The champagne looks really good. It’s like on the go color.
Have to keep an eye on the MUA sales and stuff. 😛
