Memebox Superbox #52 Thumbs Up! Beauty Box – Unboxing & Reviews

Memebox came up with this box based on the feedback of hundreds of its customers.  It added only the favorite products that have been raved about the most and have been bought over and over again.  I was expecting this to be stellar.

I was rather disappointed with Memebox Superbox #52 Thumbs Up! Beauty Box.  I don’t know what I was expecting, but I can clearly see, that these “best of..” boxes are not really as good as they appear.  I got one repeat product and I am sure some of the items don’t really have such a cult following as it is made out to be.Let’s see what it has

1. Hope Girl 3D Powder Blusher 01 Sexy Rose 5gms. This is a subtle rose pink blusher which goes on quite sheer.  It comes with a built in puff that is attached to the bottle, you are supposed to use the puff to dispense directly on your face.  I have a ton of Illamasqua and Benefit blushes, this one is going to go into a blog sale sometime.
2. Kocostar Nail Therapy 4g x 2ea. These are therapy masks to be placed over each finger for 30 to 60 minutes. They are supposed to result in softened cuticles and strengthened nails. I am dying to use this but have a bit of an injury on one cuticle and I’m not sure I want to risk using this.  Will keep this till I can use it better.
3. Real Beauty Serum 50ml. This is randomly selected from Morning Dew Bamboo, Ultra Waterful Serum, Moist Soothing Rose Serum and Bouncy Firming Serum.  I got the pink rose one.  I actually feel I would have like to get either the Bouncy firming one or the morning dew bamboo.  Both sound more interesting.   Still, gotta love a serum.
4. RiveCowe Sebum Control Convenient Compact 8g. The compact is actually a very sturdy and convenient size. It is supposed to mattify oily skin and control oil throughout the day.  I can certainly find use for this.  This has already been used by me and has gone into my daily bag for touch ups mid day.
5. O& Soap Berry Cleanser 100ml. A foaming cleanser. I love foaming cleansers and use the Himalaya one regularly.  Have started using this and it works perfectly.
6. Miguhara B P Cream 30 ml. A dual function cream serves both as BB cream as well as a primer. It keeps skin silky, even toned while controlling excessive sebum.  I have actually read a lot of great reviews on this.  I’m keen to try this on.
7. Herbclinic Rice Bran Powder 80gms. A rice bran powder that is to be mixed with milk and used as a mask. I got this in my Whole Grain box as well.  I like it, but won’t be using  so much so soon.  May again go into a blog sale.

Overall Thoughts

Stick to the themed boxes such as Café, Chocolate etc.  I find these global or best of boxes are not as great.
