Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Coral Review

I love using compact powders for everyday makeup. A concealer and light dusting of powder is all I need when I don’t have time. I have been using Revlon Nearly Naked Powder for almost 2 months now and love it to the core because of the smooth texture & color match, however Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact got me intrigued, hence I decided to give it a shot.

Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Coral Review

Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact comes in a pretty & sleek white case. It has a full size mirror and sponge applicator inside. The compact is available in 3 shades – Pearl (Light to Medium), Shell (Medium) & Coral (Medium to Dark). I have got Coral, which isn’t a perfect match for me despite of being the darkest shade in the range. I am pretty happy with the fact that the powder has yellow tones that doesn’t look ashy on me.

Texture of Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact is slightly powdery, You get too much powder on the brush / sponge every time. I can’t use it without dusting off excess product, which isn’t something I prefer while buying a compact powder. The powder can look look cakey if applied liberally, so I always make sure to apply a light layer on the top of my makeup. Sale executive told me that it offers light coverage and is good for touch ups, which I don’t think is possible with this formula.

Cost wise it can be a really good choice for teenagers or those who are on budget. It looks good and works well. However if you have dry skin like mine, there are chances of looking powdery if no applied with caution.

Overall Thoughts

If you are on budget and looking for a decent compact powder, give Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact a try. There are only 3 shades available and the darkest one wouldn’t be dark enough if you are NC45+. Texture of the product is not-fine and there are chances of it looking powdery if not applied carefully.
