Maybelline The Jewels by Colorsensational Red Garnet

The Jewels by Maybelline has beautiful shades which are apt for fall. I have on in Fuchsia Crystal. 

The shade is pretty dark. Red Garnet is a brown-plummy shade, no way even close to “Red” like its name.

Color payoff is great. It covers lip pigmentation very well.

Formula is smooth and it glides on lips without tugging or pulling. Staying power is great , it stays on for long hours. Due to its dark color, I generally use it as a stain only. I use my fingers to gently dab on shade on my lips, blend it and that’s all.

For night outs I use a lip brush to outline and fill in the product to get a neater application. You can always blot to tone down the intensity.

The Jewels range has all dark shades which will be perfect for fall/winters. If you are a neutral shades lover, this range may disappoint you.

I wore it on Diwali and it looked perfect !! Here is one random pic of me wearing Red Garnet.
