Being someone with partially pigmented lips I prefer a tinted lip balm for day time wear. Maybelline Baby Lips have been one of my favorite lip balms for a long time now and I can’t stop using them. The new spiced up range is equally good. These lip balms are quite pigmented and keep dryness at bay!.

Left To Right – Bare Lips, with Berry Sherbet, with Spiced Cinnamon

Maybelline Spiced Up Lip Balm in Spicy Cinnamon is a cinnamon brown shade which goes perfectly with medium-deeper skintones. Berry Sherbet looks quite deep but upon swatching the color sheers out a bit but looks beautiful. Its my favorite shade out of the two variants I have at the moment.

As you can see the color payoff is good + the formula is non-slippery non-waxy. It feels thick yet comfortable on lips. I really love how it keeps my lips soft and smooth throughout the day. I was not keeping well and medicines made my lips chapped and dry, Maybelline Spiced Up Baby Lips Lip Balms were my choice throughout that period.

I can’t really taste anything as opposed to the strong flavours claim made by the brand. The scent is nice spicy+fruity.

Also Maybelline Spiced Up Baby Lips Lip Balm come with SPF 20 which is a huge plus for me, color + care+sun protection is all you need to beat the summer heat.

Overall Thoughts

I can’t wait to add the last shade – Tropical Punch to add to my collection. I have been an ardent fan of Baby Lips formula & comfort and the new range – Maybelline Spiced Up Baby Lips Lip Balm, is no exception. These lip balms work as a colored lip products, soothes dry chapped lips and keeps them protected from sun damage. Recommended !

I have both these variant and I feel pigmentation is not that good. You need multiple swipes for the color to show up. But the shades are quite nice.

Yeah but I think they are quite pigmented for a lip balm 🙂
