Maybelline has been coming up with many new launches. This range is the latest having different hues of pink.

A word on the range-

Shade- Maybelline Pink Alert Lipstick POW 3 is a pretty Barbie doll pink shade with very little blue undertones. It is an apt shade to have that cute pink pout.

Packaging- The packaging is reminiscent to Maybelline color sensational lipsticks having metallic inner body and colored outer cover. The shade number and indicator is provided at the bottom. It is sturdy and travel friendly.

Texture & Formula- The texture of Maybelline Pink Alert Lipstick POW 3 is smooth and creamy. It glides on easily and feels comfortable and light weight on lips. The formula is non –sticky. It is hydrating and moisturising. It doesn’t settle in the lip lines neither accentuate dry flaky lips. The lipstick adds glossiness to lips making them appear healthy and glossy.It is fragrance free.

Pigmentation- Maybelline Pink Alert Lipstick POW 3 is decently pigmented providing medium to full coverage with 2 swipes. It will cover lip pigmentation easily. However, it can aggravate yellow tones of certain skin ones. It doesn’t blend on over application and leaves a mild pink stain on lips after it wears off.

Staying Power- Maybelline Pink Alert Lipstick stays for about 3 hours on my lips with light meal included. It fades evenly leaving a light pink stain on lips.

Overall Thoughts

I am so loving the pink alert lipsticks. I prefer wearing peaches more than pinks but all the shades in this range are wearable and add a pop of colour to face. Maybelline Pink Alert Lipstick POW 3 is a beautiful Barbie doll pink shade. It is a close dupe for Bourjois Rose Neon(12) priced at rs.955.This is way too reasonably priced.

The formula is light weight and very comfortable. It is creamy and hydrating. I like how subtle it looks yet adds colour to face. The shade is decently pigmented and stays for decent amount of time. It doesn’t settle in the lip lines and doesn’t bleed on over application. I believe POW 3 will suit fair to medium skinned tone girls more.
