Maybelline Master Camouflage Concealer Palette Review Swatches Photos

Color correcting is an important step in makeup if you have uneven complexion or dark patches. Finding an affordable color correcting palette in india is a challenge. I was using Freedom Pro Conceal & Correct palette and when I hit pan on the orange corrector, I thought of looking around for a new palette. The freedom pro palette is great but the formula is sheer, which makes it great for everyday or for beginners however for days when I want to look extremely flawless a formula with better pigmentation is required. I came across Maybelline Master Camouflage Concealer which is a new launch and picked it in shade medium –

Shade – Maybelline Master Camouflage Concealer Palette is available in two shades – Light & Medium. Internationallly there is a dark variant as well. I would have picked that one honestly because orange in this palette is a bit light for me or for anyone with deeper complexion. There are 6 cream products in the palette categorised in – correct, conceal & highlight. Correct has one yellow and one orange correctors, conceal has one light and one dark concealer and highlight has a peachy toned and one shimmery shades.

Now the correctors are ok, but look a bit too light for my complexion. In Concealers none of the shades match me ,lighter one is too light and darker one lacks yellow tones so it looks dull and can’t be used on its own. I haven’t used the shimmery highlight color and don’t know where can I use it. Too much cream on the face will give me cake-y looking makeup.

Texture & Formula – Texture of Maybelline Master Camouflage Concealer Palette is quite thick which isn’t something I enjoy personally. The formula is quite heavy and creases if not set with a loose powder. The creams have to be set with a loose setting powder so that they don’t move or crease. I don’t like to layer them since the formula is quite thick and feels heavy on the skin. Despite of being blessed with dry skin, I don’t like to use these and specially when its hot and humid outside.

Coverage – Due to thick texture Maybelline New York Master Camo Color Correcting Kit helps in concealing darkness and blemishes on face. It works well for spot concealing, not so great for under eye area. For that I prefer something light like Wet N Wild Photo Focus Concealer.
