Maybelline Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds Lipstick Review

I am a lipstick junkie and love to try out every new launch in the market. Recently Maybelline launched The Loaded Bolds Lipstick in 13 shades. I have picked 5 shades that aren’t the most unique but flatter my complexion. I have these for more then a month now and here is what I think about them –

Beyond bold, it’s sensational. Achieve high-impact color in one saturated stroke with Maybelline’s The Loaded Bolds lipstick. Shades – I have picked 5 shades –

Sunny Coral – Medium Coral , quite gorgeous and falters medium-deep complexion

Dynamite Red – Warm toned red

Fierce Fuchsia – Bright fuchsia pink

Raspberry Randezvous – Raspberry pink

Fearless Purple – Bold purple , not like Lakme Masaba Role A Cola Crayon if you are wondering

There is a white & black shade as well which obviously I didn’t pick. Shade range is better but absence of nude/ nuteral shade can be felt.

Packaging is similar to color sensational lipsticks , a blue cap and shade name written on the bottom.

Texture & Formula – Maybelline The Loaded Bolds Lipsticks have smooth & buttery formula. It glides on lips effortlessly and deposits rich color in one stroke. Finish is creamy which isn’t extremely creamy. All the shades feel absolutely comfortable on the lips and formula doesn’t settle in lip lines.

One of the lipsticks (Raspberry rendezvous) broke from the base in first application. I hope the same would happen with rest of the shades later.

Pigmentation – Extremely rich color pay off ! True to the name Maybelline The Loaded Bolds Lipsticks have bold shades and extremely good color payoff.

Staying Power – 5-6 hours, darker shades like Raspberry randezvous leaves stain.

Overall Thoughts 

I am really impressed with the rich & bold colors this range has to offer. However would have loved to see some neutrals & browns.
