Shade – Glam 12 is the shade I am reviewing today. Its a beautiful deep red color that will suit most of the skin tones. Its a glamorous color with some shimmer, perfect for a night out !
Texture & Formula – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 12 is a liquid lipcolor with golden shimmer. Formula is quite thick but spreads evenly. Texture is balmy and it keeps my lips moisturized throughout the wear. It doesn’t settle in fine lines or moves out of lips/ feathers out. I find the formula non-sticky and mildly scented. However formula transfers a lot.
Pigmentation – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 12 is pretty pigmented. It covers lips evenly and hides any pigmentation / discoloration. It leaves a slight tint on my lips.
In the above picture I have worn Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 12 on its own. The color looks slightly deeper in person.
Staying Power – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 12 stays on me for good 3 hours if I don’t eat or drink anything. Staying power is as good as anyother lip gloss. It leaves stain behind that stays on for another hours.
Overall Thoughts
I really like the formula, feel, and pigmentation of Maybelline Lip Polish . Glam 12 is a must have color for everyone, its glam and its a perfect red that will suit almost all complexions. Formula is thick and creamy, it keeps lips moisturized and glossy throughout the wear. Packaging and brush applicator work really well and makes it quite travel friendly. Shimmer in the gloss makes it more glossy and gives a plumped look to lips. I am really impressed with the pigmentation of this shade. Would love to buy more shades once it launches.
