Shade – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 14 is a brown lip color with pink undertones. Its a perfect nude/neutral shade for almost all skin tones. Presence of micro shimmers add a glam touch to it.
Texture & Formula – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 14 has a buttery formula. I find these a cross between gloss & lip colors, balmy, moisturizing and provide medium coverage. Like previously reviewed shades – Glam 12 & Glam 13, this too feels comfortable on lips. It has slightly thick consistency but doesn’t feel tacky or sticky whatsoever. Shimmers aren’t gritty and adds to the glossiness of the color. Lips stay moisturized throughout the wear and formula doesn’t settle in fine liner or highlights dry patches.
Pigmentation – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 14 is pretty pigmented. You can achieve medium to opaque coverage in 2-3 coats. It covers any lip discoloration easily.
I have clicked pictures indoors without flash so it looks a bit washed out, but the color looks more or less the same.
Staying Power – Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 14 stays on for good 2-3 hours and doesn’t leave a tint behind.
Overall Thoughts
I can’t find any negative point in Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 14 except that it doesn’t leave any stain/tint behind. Color is a gorgeous neutral shade that is perfect for working girls. It doesn’t wash out the complexion and shimmers present in the formula add right amount of glossiness to it. Leaf shaped applicator makes application swift and precise. I will highly recommend these lip polishes to everyone !
