I like Maybelline mascaras, mostly they are good value for money. I was using the Colorbar Zoom & Whoosh mascara but it started flaking and that was the time when I started looking out for a new one. Lash Sensational Mascara is quite loved all across the globe and it launched with Maybelline Contour Range last month. I couldn’t wait and picked one from Amazon. The one I have is the washable one.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara comes in rose gold plastic tube. The wand is curvy one with short bristles. It doesn’t wiggles during application which ensures less messy application. I dislike wands that wiggle and wave during application, I end up smearing mascara on my eyelids.
I have short and thin lashes, that need some work. I don’t like waterproof mascaras as they take a lot of time and rubbing to come off. At the same time mascaras that aren’t long wearing result in the products smearing on the bottom lash line. The variant I have is the washable one but it stays put for a long time without smudging.
The fan brush works brilliantly. It coats each lash perfectly and curls them. I apply 2-3 layers of mascara on each eye without letting the product dry completely, between coats.
Formula definitely makes my lashes longer & denser but nothing too dramatic. Also it doesn’t make the lashes clumpy or spidery. The lashes look neat & curled.
I don’t use a lash curler before applying the mascara and even than the formula keeps the lashes curled for quite sometime. Also being a washable formula, it comes off easily. I just have to splash some water and rub the lashes gently , the formula comes off quickly without smearing and smudging.
