Maybelline Hypercurl Volum Express Mascara Review

For every lipstick lover lipsticks are a must have. Similarly for very eye makeup lover like me kajals, gel liners, colored eye pencils are a must have. And when you are done with all this, then you proceed towards the next level of eye makeup. And that is when you get introduced to “MASCARAS”.  I feel mascara is a must have for someone who loves dark sultry eye makeup look. And mascara application is so easier with the innovative wands coming up these days that even beginners will love to play with the mascaras. This time I tried my hands on the Maybelline Hypercurl Volum Express Mascara.

Maybelline is one of the most favorite brand of Indian girl. With it’s easy on pocket prices and awesome quality it’s a sure shot winner and it is definitely going to win in the market for long run. So, let’s have a look at the – Maybelline Hypercurl Volum’ Express Mascara.

Packaging : The packaging of Maybelline Hypercurl Volum’ Express Mascara is pretty simple and very similar to other mascaras in the market. It comes in a slight curve shaped tube which is bulkier at the middle and as it progresses downwards. It comes in dark pink and black combination.

The packaging contains the product name and other details in a very brief manner. The top part needs to be twisted so that the mascara wand comes out. Mascara wand is perfectly curved and so it is easier to apply on the lashes. The wand is wonderfully designed and the spaces in between ensure that the lashes will not clump together.

Texture : The texture of this mascara is thick and sticky. It does not spread that easily. So, for at least one eye you need to use the mascara wand twice. Also, you need to give  a good amount of 5-7 minutes to dry the mascara else it might smudge off here and there.

My Experience :

Coming to the actual performance of the Maybelline Hypercurl Volum’ Express Mascara it does more than a decent job for your eyelashes. It curls my lashes and gives them a good everyday look. It does not curls them and make them look too dramatic.

It looks very natural and thus this one is perfect for day time wear. Also, as I said the formula is a bit thick so you need to be really cautious with the application part. The mascara does not make my lashes hard or stiff unlike most of the waterproof mascaras in India. Also, it does not weigh down my lashes too. It stays for an entire day without much budging or irritation to eyes.

And finally, it is not a pain to remove like most of the mascaras which I absolutely hate.

I love Maybelline Hypercurl Volum Express Mascara. It perfectly fits into my list of everyday wear. If you are a beginner to mascara or looking for some normal day wear mascara then this one fits the bill. Trust me girls, buy it and you won’t regret later.
