Maybelline Fit Me Range India – Preview Price Photos Swatches

Apart from Revlon Nearly Naked , Maybelline Fit Me was the most coveted range for me. However former disappointed me with price tags & limited shade range, latter has its own downsides which I will discuss as we move along. The Maybelline Fit Me makeup range was launched this month and is now available across India.

During my first visit I was so annoyed with the range that I didn’t pick anything except Fit Me foundation. Its not the Regular Fit Me foundation, its the poreless & matte version which is suitable for combination/oily skin. There are 5 shades available and I picked the darkest one, however I found it bit too dark and thought of picking another . So now I have two of them – 322 Warm Honey, 330 Tofee Caramel priced at Rs 525 eachMaybelline Fit Me Range India Overview Price Photos (3)

I know I am not someone with oily skin, however the launch and the price tag got me excited enough to pick not one but two of these 😀 .. I am going to mix these two shades to get a perfect match for me. Maybelline Fit Me Range India Overview Price Photos (12)

Also the range has Fit Me Powder which is meant for Normal To Dry skin priced at Rs 475. The box is quite light, almost flimsy with a full sized mirror beneath the powder pan. It also comes with a puff for application. Sadly the shade range is very limited with 4 shades, that too with absolutely no shade for me or darker complexions. I picked the darkest 310 Sun Beige which is still quite light and I will use it to set under eye concealer, hope that its not too coarse or cakey.

There are 3 blushes in the range which are quite light and shimmery. I picked the darkest two – 202 Medium Coral & 204 Medium Pink Priced at Rs 400 each. Both have noticeable shimmer with smooth texture. However I still doubtful about them showing up on my complexions. Packaging is flimsy clear lid plastic case with a small brush applicator.

Maybelline Fit Me range has 3 concealers and as always they are targeted towards fairer complexions. I have still picked No 25 Medium priced at Rs 500, which is more suited for Fair-Medium complexion. I will see how to make it work for me, since I have already tried Fit Me Concealer and really love the formula, I think using it as an under eye brightener would be a good choice.

Overall from price point Maybelline Fit Me range will get a lot of attention, but one thing I fail to understand as to why drugstore brands always launch more lighter shades when it comes to base makeup when most of Indian people have medium to deeper complexion (at least 50%). I will have detailed reviews of all the products up soon.

This range doesn’t excite me much..especially the blushes as they are not very good….Waiting for your detailed review…And even I think what they keep in mind while launching products in India..Shade selection is really poor…

Oww.. that’s not a good thing to hear. Seriously, drugstore brands have poor shade selection and that’s why women will be more comfortable picking up base makeup products from high end brands that offer more choice of shades. I wanted to pick a foundation, 332 that is, but guess I will skip 🙁

well, this is disappointing to know the limited shade range, more so, because the range is called “fit me”! it is supposed to make it easy for everyone to find a shade that fits their skin tone! 🙁

The foundation from this range sounds quite nice. Read so much about the Fit me range long before it was introduced in India. Hope it lives up to its claims.
