Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick ( £7.19)
Maybelline recently came out with an absolutely gorgeous Colour Sensational Vivid Lipsticks collection of stunning 10 shades. I bought two shades Hot Plum and Shocking Coral.You all must be wondering another Coral! Even I don’t know why I started liking them a lot as I was more into pinks and reds. Must do a separate post for collections of Corals, what do you think?
What product claims?
Now bright goes gorgeous, never garish. Brighter colour from our exclusive vivid pigments! Creamier feel from nourishing honey nectar!
Description of Shades:
Shocking Coral : It is neon coral-pink, bright & gorgeous shade and everyone’s favourite. I am into more coral these days as they are perfect for summers. The Pigmentation is fantastic and the formulation is very creamy, no chance of drying your lips. Glides very smoothly on lips and has great staying power.This is something to brighten up your day; not just the face.The scent is quite strong but fades away after 5 minutes.It has a semi-matte finish and the formula is moisturising. It would suit all skin tones and can be worn at all times.
Hot Plum : It is an amazing bright pink based purple colour which would look good on fair to medium skin tones, particularly for evening and night parties. It is also creamy in texture and didn’t dry out my lips. It is smooth in texture and gives buttery effect on lips. I feel that the colour does appear lighter on the lips when compared to the actual lipstick but is still flattering, noticeable and perfect for summers. Fragrance is pleasant. Very intense as it covers my lips with one single stroke and stays longer for 5-6 hours, leaves a stain when it wears off.
Packaging : I absolutely adore packaging of these. It is all over neon colour plastic case which is very impressive. The only minus point is that you cannot recognise the lipstick shade from outside.The shade number and name written on the square shaped sticker at the bottom which matches with the colour of the lipstick.
Pigmentation : I am quite happy with their pigmentation; one swipe gives good coverage without bleeding. Although it doesn’t dry lips but would highly recommend using balm underneath for beauties with dry lips.
Staying Power : Staying power is good as it lasts for 5-6 hours although I like reapplying throughout the day.

Overall Thoughts
I am totally obsessed with these lipsticks because of amazing colour pay off; a great gift for those who love bright n vibrant colours. These are extremely trendy and perfect to brighten up face, looks and mood. Texture is very creamy with a semi-matte finish and glides very smoothly on lips. My lips feel very comfortable. It has a good staying power and doesn’t bleed, stick or smudge. Highly recommended!
