Maybelline has launched Baby Lips Candy Wow range which offers 5 shades. I have got 4 of them , there is a peach one which I didn’t pick as it would have been too light for my pigmented lips. I really like the crayon style twist up packaging of these lip balms. Very convenient and fun ! I always prefer pointy tip over blunt ones, in tinted lip balms.

These lip balms offer color+ moisture to the lips. The pigmentation varies across the board, I find Orange, Cherry & Raspberry* quite pigmented and Mixed Berry sheer. I have pigmented lips so it looks more like a wash of color/ tint on the lips, but the discoloration doesn’t get concealed completely.
Formula is moisturizing and makes lips smoother, however if you have chapped lips, it will take time to work on them. Its not a formula that will heal chapped/ dry lips. But since no one likes white cast on lips especially when the weather is turning cold, a slight wash of color and moisture is more than enough.

What is difference between Candy Wow and the regular Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms? The Crayon Style & color payoff of some of the shades. I can very well compare them to a sheer lipstick but with moisturizing ability. Cherry leaves a tint, which stays on for sometime.
Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow is a good product for young girls who don’t want to wear lipstick but love a wash of color. I am really enjoying these !

Overall Thoughts
If you love fun and cute packaging , then this is a must have product. Priced decently with ease of application, Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow has become my hand bag essential.

I think these are better for me from the regular lip balms just because of their better pigmentation. I love lip balms with a hint of color which is visible enough! 🙂
