All this is becoming so popular because of the positive benefits that it gives. Matcha is a type of green tea that has its origin in Japan. It has high chlorophyll and great anti-oxidant content in it. This tea has great health as well as beauty benefits. This article will give you an idea on how you can use Matcha green tea in your daily beauty routine.

What Is Matcha & How to Use It In Skincare

Matcha Face Pack-   Matcha can be used in face packs too! To make this, mix one tablespoon of matcha with one tablespoon of honey. Add one or two tablespoons of boiling water to this mixture and mix it until all lumps are dissolved completely. The consistency should be neither too thick nor too runny. Let this mixture cool down for a bit and then apply it onto damp skin. Keep it for 20 minutes and then wash with plain water. You can do this twice a week to achieve glowing skin.

Steam– This tea can also be used while you steam your face. Just drop in the green tea into the water and steam it. The steam will open your pores and the green tea is an added benefit here.

Face mist – Instant freshness is so calming! Our skin tends to lose its charm when it becomes dehydrated. The air conditioner, dirt, dust, and pollution are the key factors that make the skin feel dehydrated. To bring back that freshness face mist can be used. To make this mist, just make matcha tea like the way you make green tea. Cool it and transfer it to a container. Use it when required. You can also keep it in the fridge to increase its shelf life.

Body scrub– Scrubbing makes the skin feel smoother and cleaner. It removes impurities from the surface of the skin and makes it look radiant by removing the dead skin cells. It makes the newer skin cells come to the uppermost level on the skin. To make this scrub mix 2 tablespoons of matcha tea with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and one heaped spoon of cane sugar. The cane sugar is the exfoliant, in this body scrub. It will gently remove the dead skin cells. It improves the complexion.

There is no need to buy expensive matcha green tea for these purposes. Hope this article made you realize its benefits of and the ways in which you can utilize it.
