Shade – Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Lip Gloss Fondant appears a coral-pink color in tube, however it comes almost clear on lips. There is a slight hint of color in the formula. Good part is it will work on most of the lipsticks, bad part is if worn alone it would give only a hint of color to your lips
Texture & Formula – Texture of Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Lip Gloss Fondant is creamy. Formula doesn’t have any shimmer and gives a glossy finish. I find it very moisturizing and comfortable on lips, where any other (ordinary) lip gloss accentuates dryness on my lips after sometime, Fondant keeps them soft throughout the wear. It has slight caramel scent to it. Consistency of Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Lip Gloss is neither thick nor runny, also formula is non-sticky.
Pigmentation – This is one place where this product fails. I bought it without swatching (since M&S makeup section wasn’t ready and they didn’t have testers available) and by looking at the tube I thought it will be a beautiful coral pink color. But unfortunately Fondant is too sheer and doesn’t provide any color/ coverage.
Staying Power – Like any other gloss , Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Lip Gloss goes away completely with meals or snacks.
Overall Thoughts
I really like the formula and feel of Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Lip Gloss Fondant. I would have preferred a little more color, but like I said because its almost clear, I can wear it on any lipstick. Formula is paraben free and has Vitamin E, thats how it keeps lips moisturized. Only downside is availability since M&S makeup is only available exclusively at Mumbai & Delhi stores.

I have never tried makeup from Marks & Spencers..this does seem sheer, though you have pretty even lip coloring so I guess you could always pull these off. Not for someone like me 😛 😀
