Marks & Spencer has recently launched their makeup collection in India which is available exclusively at M&S Store, South Ex New Delhi. I visited the store recently and picked few products. Unfortunately their makeup section was still not ready, so half of the products were not on display.

There were two makeup lines on display – Autograph (Expensive) & Limited Collection (Affordable). I was really interested in trying out autograph stuff but they didn’t have any tester available ! Strange …

Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Blusher comes in cardborad box packaging, that looks like a drum. Lid doesn’t close properly. The blusher comes in 2 shades – Apricot & Berry. I picked Berry which again looks more pink than berry. For the price you get quite a good amount of product in the box !

Shade – Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Blusher in Berry is a beautiful pink blush with silver shimmers. This shade would look absolutely beautiful on fair to medium skintones. On deeper complexions it would work more like a highlighter.

Texture & Formula – Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Blusher is a soft fine milled powder blush with silver shimmers. Shimmer gives a satiny finish to the blush and don’t show up as glittery shimmer particles, They provide a sheen ! Texture of this blush is smooth and silky. It applies and blends evenly. I have worn it with and without foundation and in both the cases application was pretty smooth.

Pigmentation – Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Blusher in Berry is decently pigmented. Its just that color is so light that on me it needs a bit of layering. Its a bit darker than Accessorize Baked Blush Quiver and shows up really well, though the sheen and soft silky texture is almost same. On photographs its tough to capture the right color.

Staying Power – Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Blusher stays on for good 5 hours on me, though it starts fading gradually after 4 hours.

This is how it looks on me in natural light. Camera was unable to capture the color-

Overall Thoughts

I liked Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Blusher in Berry and find it a wearable color. This can be worn during daytime comfortable. Color is subtle and shimmers give it a satiny finish. The only this I dislike about the products is packaging, loose lid makes it not-so travel friendly. I would like to try some products from their “Autograph” range too.
