March MSM Select Box – Unboxing & Review

MSM Select Box (Rs 995 for one month)

The new Beauty Subscription/ sampling box in town is MSM Box. Company has two subscription options – Express & Select. Express Box features Niche & upcoming brands where Select Box offers Premium & Established brands. However I could hardly see any difference in both the boxes, I searched for Express box and saw more or less same samples in both of them. So it seems like the team hasn’t set a standard box/sampling and shuffling samples around.

Feb MSM Box was a total disappointment for me. Only one full sized product that too a lip liner from Catrice , which I later spotted in couple of express boxes too. FYI Express Box is for 495 a month and Being a Select box subscriber I was disappointed to see that the brand didn’t make any effort to make them look distinct from each other , product/sample wise.

MSM Select Box is supposed to have premium & established brands, lets see what I have received in this March MSM Select Box –

Box came with Two Vouchers – Rs 200 Off on Luxa Derma Face Masks & Rs 100 gift voucher from The Body Shop

Kama Ayurveda Vetiver Water (Rs 175 for 50 ml) –  This time the box had travel size facial mists from Kama Ayurveda and I love both of them. I am already using Kama Ayurveda Vetiver Water and have tried & loved Rose Water. I have received Kama Ayurveda Vetiver Water, in this month’s MSM Box.

Colorbar Snip & Shape Nail Manicure Set (Rs 275) – This mini manicure set from Colorbar has one mini nail cutter & a mini nail file. Quite useful while travelling I must add.

Kama Ayurveda Cypress Orange Glycerine Bar (50 gm for Rs 165) – Another product from Kama Ayurveda, well I wouldn’t want two products from the same brand. However it smells nice.

Natio Tinted Lip Balm (Rs 295 for 4g) – A tinted lip balm, sounds perfect. Color is nice and I am hoping that it would show up on me.

Luxa Derma Deep Moisturizing Treatment Hand Hydration Gloves (Rs 200) – This is the first time I will be trying on hydrating gloves for hands ! Will keep you posted.

So all the 5 products in this month’s box are good. However I wouldn’t want two products from the same brand in the box and hope that MSM team would add more brands soon.  Box has surely improvised and its way better than last month’s. Next month’s box will decide if I would like to continue with MSM Select Box or go for Express one.
