Marc Jacobs Fame Lust for Lacquer Review, Swatches, Photos

The brand am sharing today launched their makeup line few years back , 2 – 3 If am not mistaken and are slowly providing their clients some of the best things they could ever ask for . I tried Marc Jacobs lipstick in past which are kind of hit or a miss but I absolutely adore their base and cheek product. The product am sharing today with you is their Gloss which are not new but still are available in the market and have loyal users across the globe. I am reviewing Marc Jacobs Fame Lust for Lacquer today – 

Shade – Marc Jacobs Fame is muted warm toned dusty pink shade with no shimmer or glitter to it; it looks quite flat for a gloss but still looks rich once you have it on your lips. The look is very sophisticated I would say and something which can be worm without giving second thought, it’s easy on eyes plus goes well on anything and everything. 

Texture & Pigmentation – The texture of the gloss is light weight but being a gloss you may feel little tackiness. I do feel after using plethora of liquid lipsticks it is so hard to love the gloss. The shade is opaque in single swipe and you can see that in lip swatch here. 

Staying Power – The gloss stays on my lips for 3 – 4 hrs with mild fading if am having any meal, it doesn’t bleed or fades unevenly nor looks patchy, I always exfoliate my lips if am using gloss or matte lipsticks, with creamier formula I tend to avoid exfoliation but otherwise you will always see me with well hydrated and exfoliated lips.

Overall Thoughts

I love gloss and especially in summers they are the only thing you will find in my bag and colours like Marc Jacobs Fame Lust for Lacquer is my first choice. If am roaming in scorching heat , they are easy on eyes and feels lush and hydrating .
