Marc Jacobs Boom Boom Lust for Lacquer Review Swatches Photos

I adore the brand but haven’t tried much from them as they are not easily available in India. A friend was coming down from US and picked some for me and here I’m sharing my two cents with you . These glosses are not new launch but still are something you could try if you are travelling and love glosses. Today I am going to review Marc Jacobs Boom Boom Lust for Lacquer–

Shade – Marc Jacobs Boom Boom is stunningly gorgeous shade of cool toned fuchsia with micro shimmer in blue shade. It is super glossy due to shimmer but since its really fine you don’t get to see it once the colour fades. I like the fact that it imparts nice dimension to lips without looking flat.

Texture & Pigmentation – If it’s a gloss you will definitely feel some tackiness around due to sticky texture but this is still manageable and feels good on lips and keeps them moisturized for hours. I get opaque look in a swipe or two so yeah pigmentation is BANG ON!

Staying Power – Marc Jacobs Boom Boom stays for 3 hours plus on my lips without fading much. It doesn’t settle in fine lines which are an issue with most of the glosses available in market. 

Packaging – I adore the classy black tube that is transparent which makes it easy to spot. The flat tube doesn’t take much space plus the applicator is designed beautifully to give precise application.

Overall thoughts

There was a phase where I use to only buy lip glosses and that is when I came across these and trust me, they are super hydrating. Also stays good without any issue of settling in fine lines, since I’m in liquid lipstick phase I may not pick more but am really happy that I came across these and once this phase is over they will again make their way in my vanity.
