Today I will be sharing my experience on Mamaearth Oil-Free Moisturizer with Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is a great ingredient for oily skin. It helps in balancing the pH of the skin and provides the requires hydration to the skin.
I don’t have much time on an everyday basis to come up with my own DIY apple cider vinegar skin care recipes. I need to put my trust on readymade products. I heard lots of good things about this moisturizer from my friends.
Lately my sister bought this moisturizer and I got a chance to try it out. I really liked the aftereffects so I ended up buying my own tube. After using it for the past month,here’s what I think about it.
About Mamaearth Oil-Free Moisturizer with Apple Cider Vinegar
Mamaearth’s oil free moisturizer helps in balancing the pH level of skin and thus reduces acne breakout. It helps in retaining natural moisture of skin thus making it smooth and elastic.
It not just works on reducing existing acne and pimples but also cleans the oil and closes the pores to prevent their occurrence any further. The non-greasy cream is free from toxins, silicone, paraben, SLS and harmful chemicals.

Packaging: It comes in a white plastic tube with flip-open cap. TThe packaging is sleek and extremely sturdy. That makes it a perfect companion for travels. I have bought the full size containing 80ml product.
This one also comes in a travel pack of 30ml. The tube comes housed in a cardboard box. Both the body of the tube and the box mentions complete ingredient list and other details regarding the product.
Colour & Consistency: As this is free from artificial colours, the moisturizer look pure white. Its consistency is thick and creamy though it settles into a matte finish after blending.
It spreads evenly on the skin and gets absorbed easily. It gives a moist matte finish. It does not leave any sticky residue behind.
Fragrance: This cream has a very light fragrance. The fragrance is very unique and stays for a few minutes only. This moisturizer contains no chemical fragrance, its smell comes from natural resources like essential oils.
Quantity & Price: This is priced at Rs.299 for 80ml. The price seems okay to me because of its formulation an packaging. It does not contain parabens or silicones, artificial colours and fragrances.
Plus, the product is environment friendly and plastic positive. You can buy it at good discount on sale time. So, the price is kind of justified.
My Overall Thoughts:
My skin loves non-comedogenic moisturizers. They are light on skin and do not cause blocked pores. The mamaearth moisturizer is both light and non-comedogenic. So, it has become one of my staple products in skin care. The moisturizer looks very creamy and thick. But, it gets completely matte when I massage it into my skin.
I use strong oil-cleansing face washes. So, extremely light moisturizers like plain aloe vera gel doesn’t work for me. I need a little nourishing product. This cream nourishes my skin properly. It helps to heal the dry patches of my skin slowly and reduces the strtchy feel.
The skin feels soft and smooth. I don’t use makeup regularly. I have used this as primer. It does a decent job at priming and helps the foundation to blend easily.
