With people raving about makeup revolution eye shadow. I picked up Makeup Revolution Smooth As Mono Eye Shadow. My intention of purchasing this particular shade was a] I wanted a matte eye shadow and b] I wanted this shade as it appeared dark brown which would  be perfect transition shade .Numerous shades and textures are available in this range.

Packaging – It comes in mini rectangular shape case with a transparent lid. The lid shuts with a click and is sturdy plus travel friendly. Backside is the shade name written along with ingredients and quantity . Frankly speaking I absolutely loved the packaging it looks quite cute and easy to use.

Shade – The shade ‘smooth as’ can be described as a warm tone brown. It’s an ideal transition contour shade for my NC30 Skin tone. It’s a quite neutral and everyday wear shade. The idea behind this purchase was to use this matte eye shadow for subtle contouring on my face and eyes, as matte eye shadows or pressed powders darker than your skin tone works really well for this purpose . I even use it as  a transition color too on my eyes  . I  can wrap it up by saying that it is a multipurpose shade for me .

Pigmentation & texture – Well as the name says ‘smooth as ‘ it is actually a smooth buttery textured eye shadow , which is not at all chalky or gritty  and also they do not have fallouts . It’s not supremely pigmented but is buildable to an extent. The color pay off is truly amazing  in this affordable range . Being a buildable eye shadow it works really great for subtle contouring also which blends easily. It is the most apt eye shadow for beginners and I was highly impressed with this shade. Pairing this shade underneath a shimmer eye shadow or glitter eye shadow would look amazing  .

Matte eye shadow lovers can checkout this range from makeup revolution. They do have shimmer eye shadows too, since I am quite impressed with Makeup Revolution Smooth As Mono Eye Shadow. I will purchase a shimmer eye shadow too from this range .One can intensify their crease or deepened their contour by  using this warm neutral brown shade by makeup revolution  . With its amazing price tag nobody wants to miss this range .
