My Makeup & Outfit – Day 2 Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2017

Day 2 was a smokey eye & nude lips for me – A classic makeup look meant for evenings or parties, but since makeup is all about experimenting I thought of wearing a subtle one for the Day 2 of Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2017. I wore a bright red top from Promod and the makeup had to be subdued but trendy.

Since I had already picked all the basic makeup stuff from Amazon Beauty, all I had to do now is put together a look. The base had to be smooth & natural looking so I chose Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick which is one of my favourite foundations for dry skin. It applies smoothly and blends seamlessly.

For concealing the under eye darkness I chose L.A. Girl Pro HD Concealer, which stays on for a long time without creasing. The makeup was set using Colorbar Air Brush Finish Loose Powder Beige Classic that not only sets but also brightens up the complexion. I love its fine texture and air brush finish.

Next I quickly moved on to my eyes using Colorbar MesmerEyes Kajal as eye shadow base. It is dark and intense black, perfect for a smokey eye makeup look. Next I picked my trusted & tried Maybelline The Nudes Eye Shadow palette that has a perfect mix of matte & shimmery shades. I chose a matte brown to go all over the eyelids and a matte black for the outer corners. I used whatever left on the blending brush on my lower lash line to balance the look. Finished off the look with 3 generous coats of Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

To slightly contour the face I used Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit that has a nice matte contour powder. For blush I used Note Cosmetics Desert Rose Luminous Silk Blush which is a beautiful coral matte shade.

For the lips I had to go neutral and wore Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick Nude Nuance which is a true brown shade. My makeup can never be completed without brows and for that I used L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit in medium. This time I kept them natural yet fuller.

Outfit was chic, casual. I wore a red plaid shirt from Promod paired with leggings from Zara. Shoes were from DKNY & Sling Bag from Botkier.

Saw Anupamaa by Anupama Dayal and Hemant & Nandita show/ collections. Couldn’t get a decent picture of the designs. Will surely put up some pics soon.Loved the theme as well as designs for sure.
