Makeup Geek Rendezvous, Chivalry, Covet Blush Review Swatches

Makeupgeek Blushes have been around for quite a long time. The brand is known for its good quality products and affordable prices. I wanted to try Makeup Geek blushes as well eyeshadows for quite a long time but due to international shipping & custom duties, never picked any. Two months ago, during one of their sales, I decided to place my order and got 5 blushes. Read on to know my thoughts on Makeup Geek Rendezvous, Chivalry, Covet Blushes –

These blushes are available in pans as well as compacts. I picked all of them in compacts as I find carrying individual blushes easier than a whole palette. The compact feels heavy and sturdy. The Grey Rose Gold packaging looks luxe and has a magnetic closure. Each compact has mirror inside which makes it user as well as travel friendly.

Shades – I have 3 shades today Makeup Geek Rendezvous, Chivalry & Covet

Rendezvous is a muted fuchsia

Chivalry is a deep rust

Covet is a sheer peachy pink with gold flecks.

I have picked a mix of matte and shimmer blushes.

Texture & Formula – These blushes have super smooth texture irrespective of finish. You can tell from the above swatches they look buttery without being powdery. I hardly see any fall out and pigmentation is superb. The powder feels soft and finely milled and doesn’t take too much time to blend into the skin. Not to forget the talc & paraben free formula !

Pigmentation – You can tell from the swatches , both the matte shades are superbly pigmented (5/5) Covet which is a salmon shade with gold flecks is a bit sheer but looks absolutely gorgeous on me. These blushes are suitable for medium to deeper complexions.

Staying Power – On me Makeup Geek Rendezvous stay on for good 6-8 hours easily. The darker shades don’t fade much and stay put without touch ups.

Overall Thoughts

These blushes are great value for money are way better in texture & formula than some of the expensive and high end blushes I own. Makeup Geek Rendezvous, Chivalry, Covet Blush are few of the shades that look superb on medium-deeper complexions. The compact is luxurious and sturdy. I am surely purchasing more of these soon.
