I had Make Up For Ever Radiant Primer Step 1 Skin Equalizer in my wish list for a long time and when Sephora opened here, I grabbed this immediately.

Primers are I and best friends. I never skip primer even before applying a compact as I have super sensitive skin and I strongly believe that primers definitely save your skin from the harmful effects of makeup. I am 32 years old now and my skin is no longer oily. It is more normal-dry now and not many brands come up with primers for dry skin.

Most of the primers available in the market are loaded with silicone and meant for oily skin that make the skin completely matte. I have been running away from oil free products offlate. The SA actually said my skin is pretty good and I do not need this and should opt for the colorless hydrating primer but when I tried this on, I was super impressed with the finish and the glow it gave. I no longer trust the SAs and make my own decisions and am so glad I did.

It comes in a travel friendly tube packaging which has a tiny nozzle and dispenses little product as needed. You do not need a lot of this primer as it spreads easily.

Texture & formula – Make Up For Ever Radiant Primer has a creamy texture which spreads easily and feels hydrating. However, I would prefer something more hydrating for my current skin. The best part is that this would suit my skin even in the summers so I do not need a mattifying one for the summers.

It does not make the skin matte or oil free and it does not claim to do so. It creates a smooth, even base which is well nourished. Foundation goes smooth over it and also stays put the entire day.

It does not feel sticky and gets absorbed within few seconds of application. My skin is totally loving this primer right now. It does not help much with open pores if you have.

The quantity is pretty less for the huge amount that you pay. MakeupForever products quality totally justifies the price spent on each item.
