All of us do several things to look flawless and glowing. We spend many bucks on beauty creams, lotions, serums. Sometimes we forget that some of the simple homemade recipes make a lot of difference on the skin. Today we discuss about how to make body Ubtan at home. If you are new to ubtan, then here is a short description and why it is used.
Ubtan is a traditional Indian name for any kind of body masks or face masks. It is usually made by instantly mixing natural ingredients like sandal wood powder, turmeric powder, chick pea flour, saffron extracts in raw milk, and such that helps in making your skin beautiful and glowing.
Moving on to preparing your homemade body ubtan. Collect the below ingredients in equal proportions.
- 1 tea spoon barley
- 1 tea spoon yellow lentil (dal)
- 1 tea spoon black gram (urad dal)
- 1 tea spoon soy bean
Dry heat all the above mentioned pulses in a wide thick bottom pan for about 2 minutes until they warm up sufficiently.
Now add them to a dry mixer jar and powder. Fine powder makes an excellent body pack while coarsely ground powder acts as a good scrub.
If you want to avoid preparing the ubtan repeatedly again and again, prepare the powder in excess quantity and store in air tight jar.
Mix the ubtan powder with raw milk and whisk well. You may use water, or rose water, or yogurt instead.
Apply all over face and neck and allow it to dry. Use this mix on the body too before bath and wash off with lukewarm water. You will notice your skin glowing like never before. If you follow the routine of using ubtan on face and body every day without fail, you will be able to enjoy bay soft skin.
