MAC Stone lipstick ( 3 gm , Price – 1450 /- INR )
MAC Matte lipstick collection may launch here anytime soon and here is one of the shade I picked recently when my friend was travelling – MAC Stone Lipstick. I have used MAC stone lip pencil in past, where I really find that one hard to carry I again took a plunge and picked the lipstick form of Taupe brown shade and here are my thoughts for the same.
Shade – MAC Stone Lipstick is described as muted greyish taupe brown, it is warm toned medium brown taupe shade which is very unique and one of a kind I tried so far. The shade may not flatter everyone but if you are little experimental do give this a shot. I find it hard to carry on my NC 40 skin tone however someone with pale skin tone will carry it off really well.
Texture & Formula – This is from MATTE finish so you can expect a complete matte look but there is slight bit of sheen to it which may be due to creamy texture which glides easily and doesn’t tug or pull my lips. The texture and finish is really nice and something I adore myself a lot.
Pigmentation – The lipstick is absolutely opaque in one single layer and covers every corner of lips easily, it does feel little heavy on lips due to ultra creamy nature.
Staying Power – The lipstick stays for 3 – 4 hrs with light snacks and meals in between , it is not very long staying as some of the matte I tried in past .

Overall thoughts
I do find MAC Stone Lipstick hard to carry but something which is very unique in its own way and I had never tried a shade like this in past so it was a welcome change for me. It is close to STONE Lip Pencil but very creamy and glides easily.
