MAC Stereo Rose Mineralize Skin Finish Review Photos Swatches

Mac Stereo Rose is described as ‘coral with golden/bronze shimmering nuances’. For me, it is a gorgeous pink-coral with golden bronze sheen. The bronze swirls on the skin finish add sheen to the shade. The shade is great for all skin types however it will come out differently on different skin tones. The shade is very similar to Benefit Coralista however stereo rose has more of a pearlescent sheen to it. It is one of the most raved skin finishes launched by MAC. Mineralize Skin Finish:A luxurious velvet-soft powder with high-frost metallic finish. Smoothes on: adding buffed-up highlights to cheeks and brows, or an overall ultra-deluxe polish to the face. New window compact.

Packaging- The packaging of the skin finish is similar to MAC permanent line blushes but it is a bit oversized. Nevertheless, it is sturdy enough and travel friendly. My wide mouth blush brushes have enough space to move around in the pan. The name of the skin finish is provided at the back.

Texture & Formula- The skin finish has a very soft texture. It is finely milled. The shade is on the warmer side and can be a great shade of blush for fair skin girls. It adds gorgeous dimension to the face. I generally use this along with slight contouring and I can skip applying blush as it highlights as well as provides colour to the face.

It is easy to blend and the sheen adds a healthy glow to the face. It did not break me neither it accentuates my pores which is a plus point.

Pigmentation- Stereo Rose is decently pigmented. I wouldn’t call it insanely pigmented but it does show up in a single swipe which can be built up to desired level of pigmentation. I need 2 swipes of the skin finish for perfect blended sheen.

Staying Power- The skin finish stays for about 5-6 hours on me after which I can see it fading. However, it doesn’t leave streaky or patchy lines and fades very evenly during this fall season. I believe the staying power will be slightly less during hot-humid temperature.

Overall Thoughts

MAC Stereo Rose is definitely a nice skin finish to add in vanity. It provides a gorgeous glow along with coral flush to the face.  On me, it is more peach than pink and has a frost finish. The formula, pigmentation, staying power is really nice.
