MAC Satin Taupe Eyeshadow Review Swatches Photos

The shade which I’m sharing today with you is one of my most used / abused colour. I feel that my stash is incomplete without it. I have lost the count of looks I did using MAC Satin Taupe. It is such a fun shade to incorporate in any look , be it green , purple,  teal , brown , grey or any shade. This is such a wonderful and versatile to use .

Shade – SATIN TAUPE is described as Taupe with silver Pearl. To me it is cool toned plumy greyish taupe shade with super fine silvery pearly sheen to it. The shade is very flattering and so easy to incorporate and can be worked easily in combination with any hue or can be worn alone.

Texture – The texture is creamy, buttery smooth and doesn’t feel powdery if you swipe your fingers over the colour. SATIN TAUPE is from FROST finish which offers some famous shade like – Amber Light, Bronze, Cranberry, Humid, Motif and Paradisco.

Pigmentation – The shadow is beautifully pigmented and is opaque in 1 – 2 swipes easily and looks lush and shiny with least bit of efforts.

Staying Power – The staying power with good primer underneath is easily somewhere around 8 plus hrs. No matter how stunning the pigmentation is I prefer to apply this over a good primer like NARS smudge proof or TFSI .

Useful for – I prefer to use MAC Satin Taupe Eyeshadow all over lids and then define the crease like I did here. it can also be used on lower lash line as well.

Overall Thoughts

Totally worth every penny and you would never be able to finish MAC Satin Taupe up. It’s always a wise decision in investing something which is so beautiful, versatile, and easy to carry and pairs so well with any shade.
