MAC Sable Eye Shadow (1.5 gm, Price – 990/- INR, Available at MAC stores across India)

MAC has some amazing bronzy brown shades in its permanent line and if you are a collector you would like to consider this shade which I’m sharing today with you – SABLE. It is one of the very famous shades and you might have seen so many you tubers using this.

Shade – MAC SABLE is described with Gold – plum with bronze pearl, it is warm toned bronze plumy shade with fine pearly sheen to it. The shade is very versatile and can be incorporated in looks very easily – cool toned or warm. The shade is particularly very common in warm toned palettes and hence would not a wise choice to buy a single pan but still I would say it is not a con for this stunning shade.

Texture – The texture is velvety creamy and is smooth to layer and to build the shade, I don’t have a soft corner for VELVET finish but this is nice to have shade. The texture is extremely buttery, creamy and the brush pick the shade nicely in one go due to finally milled texture.

Pigmentation – MAC SABLE is gorgeously pigmented shade and is almost opaque in single swipe and covers my lids pretty easily, still if I add one more layer it looks more intense.

Staying Power – The staying power is between 7 – 8 hrs with good primer like all MAC shadows , I find that they require a good base to show up else wash off .

Overall Thoughts

I like MAC Sable Eye Shadow but you see a shade like this in number of palettes around which are mostly warm toned and hence not worth at this price point, still if you are building up your collection you can consider a shade like this which is versatile to use and incorporate with so many different hues.
