Shade : MAC Retro Lipstick can be described as Peachy Brown shade, this shade looks different on each person, like those with slightly pigmented lips shows red undertones whereas on less pigmented lips it shows more peach. This is a best neutral shade in MAC and suits almost each and every skin tone. It is my perfect MLBB and office wear shade. I often reach out for this the most. In my opinion this shade would suit a wide variety of skin tones.

Texture and Finish: MAC Retro Lipstick is a satin finish lipstick. Texture is very smooth and soft. It glides on lips smoothly without any tugging or pulling. Satin finish is more can be said creamier matte. It is very soft on lips hence you won’t feel dryness unlike matte finish however it is not so moisturizing. This does not bleed or settle in fine lines however if you have dry lips like me better moisturize it properly before using this lipstick.

Pigmentation: MAC Retro Lipstick gives opaque coverage; one single swipe is enough to cover any pigmented lips. I like the pigmentation of this shade. On my lips it requires two coats to show full color. It’s buildable and goes intense accordingly.

Staying Power: This stays for 6-7 hours on me with light meals and drinks. After a full meal it color gets slightly fades off though it remain on lips as it is. MAC  Retro Lipstick leaves a tint behind on lips which stay for another 2-3 hours looks pretty.

Overall Thoughts:

MAC Retro Lipstick is a universal flattering shade. One of the famous neutral shades in MAC. It looks great on everyone. The formula is pretty much moisturizing. Staying power is excellent. I would recommend this shade to every office goer who want to have a perfect MLBB shade.
