MAC Red Brick Eye Shadow Review Swatches Photos

MAC Red Brick Eye Shadow (1.3 gm for 990/- INR, Available at MAC stores) 

I’m here with another Orange shade from MAC, trust me while writing a review I’m browsing MAC cosmetics site and adding products to cart, the eye shadows are so addictive no matter these days palettes are trending but MAC GEMS can never be ignored. MAC RED BRICK eye shadow is said to be a PRO shade but you can order it online at MAC website but they don’t ship to India, so if you have someone coming from Mumbai please grab this shade which can be a great blush too.

Shade – MAC Red Brick Eye Shadow is described as Orange Red and just like the description , it is bright and vibrant shade of warm toned brown based oranges red , I feel cool toned red’s are not wearable but these type of red shades looks wonderful and can be easily incorporated in looks .

Texture – The shadow is from matte finish range but still doesn’t feel dry at all, it is really soft, buttery smooth and doesn’t feel powdery. MAC Red Brick Eye Shadow is a must have if you like warm toned looks and on top of that I find it goes really well with olive , purple , brown shades and make them stand out in its presence .

Pigmentation – The eye shadow is beautifully pigmented and is opaque in 1 – 2 layers and doesn’t feel uneven, it is buildable and blendable shade and can be worked easily.

Staying Power – The shadow with good primer stays nicely for 7 – 8 hrs without creasing or fading. I find that a good primer underneath brings out the exact colour no matter the pigmentation is awesome it needs a base to show up nicely.

Useful for – The shade is particularly useful for the crease and outer V, I find it hard to wear all over the lids and hence in the look here I used this on outer half with MAC Lucky Green eye shadow on inner half.

Overall Thoughts

Even with matte finish MAC Red Brick Eye Shadow is so gorgeously pigmented and feel less dry on lids, I find this very flattering shade for brown eyes and warm toned looks. I may not use this often but this is such a great colour to add life to any look where greens or purples are used.
