MAC Quite natural pro long wears paint pot (5 gm for 1600/- INR)
AS much as I adore MAC shadows , I have kept myself away from their paint pots for past 3 – 4 years but recently picked MAC Quite Natural Paint Pot from their pro long wear formula in the shade Quite natural . I have used their old classics like – Indian wood, Rubensque and Painterly in past but they reformulated these and now I have 2 of them. I do want to pick more shades but not till I make a dent in this as they hardly finish off even with regular usage.
Shade – MAC Quite Natural is described as dirty chocolate brown, it is warm toned muted taupe deep brown shade with enough red tones to it and absolute matte creamy finish. The shade is very flattering and especially if you are little above NC 42 this may be the best bet for you.
Texture & Formula – MAC Pro long wear paint pot formula is delight to work, it is very soft, creamy and feel like a soft butter at room temperature, of course with good solid body. It slides easily and sits pretty without creasing.
Pigmentation – MAC Quite natural paint pot is beautifully pigmented cream base, I use this with a flat synthetic brush and it gives even application over a good primer.
Staying Power – I always use this over a primer like Urban Decay primer potion or Too Faced shadow insurance to get crease proof finish for hrs and it looks well in place whole day if there is good base underneath. A good primer ensures that there is no creasing and that keeps you safe if you are out and want your makeup to stay intact.
Overall Thoughts
The cream shadow may not be suitable for lighter skin tone but to me this is such a great way to create a solid base and if you little above NC 42 than MAC Quite natural Pro Longwear Paint Pot is for you. I picked this for more smokier looks and to add a nice base and even if not my skin tone I’m really enjoying this with my regular warm toned shadows like shown in pictures here . They have revised the price but I got mine at old price of 1450/- , I hate how MAC hikes their price so often.
