I love MAC’s Matte finish lipstick. Though, the texture is bit drying but the staying power and pigmentation is fabulous and it gives a polished look to face. I have been eyeing on this shade for a while and finally got it few weeks back.

Shade – MAC describes Please Me as ‘muted rosy tinted pink’. On me, it comes out medium tones pastel pink with slight yellow undertones. The shade has sheen to it despite being matte finish. I find it very similar to MAC chatterbox though it is slightly darker. MAC Please Me needs a bit of work on face as it can look pale otherwise. I use a coral blush along with this to make this lip colour stand out.

Packaging – MAC Please Me is a permanent line shade and the packaging is similar having a matte black bullet with shade name and finish provided at the bottom. It is sturdy and travel friendly.

Texture & Formula – The texture of MAC Please Me is quite drying since it is a matte finish lipstick. I recommend exfoliating the lips prior applying this shade as it can accentuate dry flaky lips. However, it is creamy and feels light weight and comfortable on lips. The shade has slight sheen when applied initially which goes off after around 15-20 minutes. The lipstick has vanilla fragrance which is reminiscent to all mac Lip Products.

Pigmentation – Though MAC Please Me is light but it is decently pigmented. One swipe provides medium coverage to lips which can be built up to full coverage with another swipe. However, it can accentuate darker pigmentation around the lips as it is a pastel shade so you need a heavy concealer to cover them.

Staying Power – MAC Please Me stays for about 4-5 hours on me comfortably. It leaves a mild pink stain on lips that stay for another half an hour.

Overall Thoughts

MAC Please Me has definitely pleased me. It is a wonderful shade for everyday wear. The finish is totally what I like. I love pairing this shade with champagne brown eye look and coral blush. It is slightly drying so you need to exfoliate lips. However, it is light weight and comfortable. The shade is decently pigmented and the staying power is great too. The shade can look a bit streaky on darker tones. So, in my opinion it is best suited for fair to dusky tones
