MAC Peachykeen Blush (Rs 1450 for 6 gm) can be purchased from MAC storeI have been hunting for a peach blush that adds warmth to face. And this is the closest match to what I wanted. The shade is peach but it is on the warmer side that will look good on all skin tones and great for the winter season.
Shade – MAC describes Peachykeen as a very baby peach. However for me, Peachykeen is a gorgeous peachy pink with fine golden shimmer. In swatch,it looks more pinkthan peach but look peach on cheeks with a beautiful sheen.
Packaging – The packaging is like standard MAC blushes having a black outer body with a transparent plastic top. The shade name is provided at the bottom. It closes securely but it isn’t very sturdy and prone to breakage.Texture & Formula – The formula is soft and it applies easily without looking patchy. The blush blends well and adds a soft sheen to cheeks which looks healthy too. It has minimal fallout which is basically due to the presence of shimmer in it. The shimmer is minute and non-gritty.
Pigmentation – MAC Peachykeen is decently pigmented. It gives a soft focussed look in a single swipe which can be built up further. The shimmer present doesn’t look over even if the blush is applied more. It adds sheen that provides a highlighting effect to cheeks.
Staying Power – The blush stays for about 7-8 hours on cheeks fading evenly. It can fade early on more oily skin but on me it has a decent stay time. The shimmer disappears within 3-4 hours though.
I really like the shade and the formula. MAC Peachykeen Blush adds a beautiful glow to face that will flatter all skin tones. The shade is subtle for a soft focussed flush look and can be intensified more. However, it never looks harsh.
The shimmer present is very minute and non-gritty. It did not break me out neither it accentuates pores. The shade is great for winter season as it adds warmth to face.It is easy to work on as it doesn’t look harsh and compliments almost all looks. It really like the finish and the formula. It has decent staying power and fades evenly without making the look patchy.
