MAC Peachtwist Blush (Rs. 1450/- for 6 Gms) is available only at MAC stores. I was on hunt of buying my first blush from the brand MAC, which is natural yet, gives a beautiful natural sheen to the cheeks which I can pair with Bold and Bright shades like Red, Plum or hot Pink Lipstick and I found MAC Peachtwist for the solution. This can be worn anytime, any occasion and with any outfit.
Shade – MAC Peachtwist is is peach blush with right amount of bronze and golden shimmer. The Shimmers present in it are not chunky or feel gritty. They are super soft and give a lovely warm glow to the cheeks.
Packaging – MAC Peachtwist comes in a standard round black pan with transparent lid covered with black edges. The shade name and other details provided at the bottom. The Transparent lid is made up of very poor quality of plastic and prone to breakage due to mishandling. I have myself experienced that and had to use glue to stick the transparent lid.Texture and Pigmentation – The texture of the blush is very soft and shimmers are very finely milled. As it is a Sheertone blush, so it is not highly pigmented one, you need to layer with couple of swipes, though it is a safer bet as you can easily intensify the color according to your needs without end up looking like a clown. There is minimal fall out. This doesn’t accentuate your pores or clogs them. MAC Peachtwist will suit NC 30- 42 skintone above really well. It gives a beautiful warmth to the cheeks which you can call it is “Sun Kissed look”.
Staying Power – As I bought MAC Peachtwist in this winter so it stays good for 6-7 hours on me but the sheen left after 2-3 hours which is because I stay in A.C environment. But in hot and humid climate like Kolkata the staying power would be lesser.
And this how it looks on me:
Overall Thoughts –
As it is my first blush from the brand, so it holds a special corner in my heart. MAC Peachtwist is a very lovely natural blush to pair with bold bright lip colors. I really like the color. I was looking for such easy going blush only which I can incorporate in anytime or any occasion. If you are looking for peach bronze blush to achieve sun kissed look so go for blush.
