The shade I am sharing today is very famous in blogosphere and especially here in India as the colour is flattering on olive skin tone effortlessly and a great neutral shade for anyone and hence I picked that up in back to MAC few months back, I keep myself away from such shades and hence B2M was good excuse to try this.

Shade – MAC Mocha is described as Peachy Yellow brown and as the description goes it is warm toned medium brown shade with peach tones to it which might make you look little pale, I like the shade and it is borderline manageable on my NC 40 skin; I need to make sure to use good base makeup and flawless skin to make this look good else it just washes me out. If you do a lot of Smokey eyes then this is a rescuer!

Texture and Formula – MAC Mocha is from SATIN finish range which is creamy , satiny and smooth to layer and have soft sheen and long staying power of matte lipstick . I personally love SATIN finish as it is very long staying and doesn’t feel too oily or slippery like other finish, it may feel heavy on lips if you layer it too much.Pigmentation – It is decently pigmented and is opaque in 2 – 3 swipes and covers any colour on my lips easily.Staying power – MAC Mocha Lipstick stays good for 3 – 4 hrs easily with mild fading and doesn’t settle in fine lines or bleed. I love the formula of SATIN finish and the staying power plus how it wears off.

Overall thoughts

If am wearing a good base it looks good but with no base makeup it washes me out , if you are little lighter then NC 40 MAC Mocha will probably suit you more , on someone above NC 45 it may be not that flattering but still it is very famous neutral peachy brown shade across every skin tone .
