As per MAC website Baked minerals refined into a powder formula to provide exceptionally sheer and lightweight application. Colour builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. Veils and enhances the cheekbones with a luminous, pearlized shimmer.

MAC Mineralize Blush Love Joy is a peachy brown color with fine golden shimmers. I wanted to buy Love thing but that looked too pink and being a bronze shade lover, was little apprehensive. When SA suggested me Love Joy I found it too golden in the pan, but once she swatched it on my hand, I knew this beauty is going home with me ..  Texture is smooth. The shimmer doesn’t look chunky or feel gritty upon application. It can be applied sheer during the day and layered up during night outs. It comes as a peachy-bronzy shade …

Below picture is taken with flash to show you how glowing the blush looks..In my opinion this shade would suit fair to medium skin tones very well. I would suggest it to all the girls who love bronze peach shades.

Pigmentation is superb. One swipe delivers enough color and gives nice wash to cheeks. I love to wear one swipe during the day and 2-3 during the nights. Despite of golden shimmers it looks very beautiful and not OTT. The shimmer works as a highlighter as well.  If you apply the blush below cheek bones it contours the face as well.

Formula is silky and blends into the skin in no time. .In below picture I have applied it heavily since the color wasn’t showing up well.

I can see hint of pink/ red too …

What I liked

1. Formula is smooth and shimmers are non gritty, neither chunky.
2. Pigmentation is superb. Would suit all skintones.
3. Fine shimmers work as highlighter and give high cheekbone look.
4. Quantity is good, will last a long time.

Overall Thoughts

A pleasant change from regular pinks and peaches. A beautiful warm bronze shade which will suit all skintones. It can be worn sheer or layered up for night time looks. Formula is super smooth and blends into the skin in seconds. It stays on for 7+ hours. Golden shimmer doesn’t look OTT. However price can be considered as one of the biggest drawbacks as these cost 300 more than the regular MAC powder blushes. I would recommend it to girls who love bronzers.
